How to create a signature drink menu

Creating a signature drink menu for a private or special event can be fun for some and daunting for others. At Craft-chella mobile bar company, we love this part of the process!

There is a method to our madness, and we are going to share some of it with you now….

We start by selecting a cross section of liquor based on what is currently most popular plus any insight the host gives us. 9 times out of 10 you will find at least one vodka and one tequila drink. Then maybe a rum or bourbon for alternate options. If it is a formal night time event, you will likely want a scotch or bourbon option. If it is a daytime poolside extravaganza, maybe a light rum drink.

Once we have the liquor selected, we will then want to consider the theme, inspiration, vibe and color pallet (if there is one) for the event.

For example, if you are throwing a holiday party, you might want us to incorporate seasonal ingredients and holiday inspired names for the drinks.

For weddings, it is fun to incorporate drinks named after the bride and groom, their wedding songs or just mushy love stuff.

Or maybe this is a divorce party and you want a drink named “The Ex-terminator” for example. There are no rules and the Skyy is the limit, a free little vodka pun for you!
